Real Estate Representative

Position Title:  Model Homes Real Estate Sales Representative

Reports to: Qualifying Broker

Classification: Full-time

Supervisory Responsibilities: None

Location: Santa Fe

Position Mission

The mission of the Real Estate Sales Representative position is to help our Associate Brokers maximize efficiency and effectiveness.

Essential Functions

The Real Estate Sales Representative is responsible for carrying out the following duties:

  • Hosting open houses at our model homes as assigned
  • Insuring that marketing materials and our Real Estate Sales database are up to date both in the main office and all model home sales offices
  • Replenishing supplies at the sales model offices
  • Writing purchase agreements at the sales model office for new construction sales
  • Obtaining registration cards for all potential homeowners who visit the sales model
  • Following up with all potential homeowners who visited the sales office on a weekly basis
  • Processing all contracts written up by the Associate Brokers
  • Preparing all timeline calendars for all customers who are under contract
  • Opening homes for inspections and appraisals as needed by the Associate Brokers
  • Setting up showings for Associate Brokers
  • Works closely with other internal departments including, but not limited, to Home Purchase Advisors, Real Estate Development and Lending to ensure best practices in service provided to customers.
  • Uses the Homewise, Inc. STARS database system to track client progress and Multiple Listing Service, Outlook and other electronic tools to provide the best service to customers.
  • Complies with, and stays current with all applicable NM Real Estate Commission regulations, policies and procedures, as well as all Homewise polices and procedures

Expected Outcomes

  • At the end of the first 30 days in this position, must be able to demonstrate a thorough knowledge of Homewise and Homewise Homes
  • Supported the Homewise mission by averaging or exceeding two sales contracts per month; contributing to a team total of 17 or more contracts per month.
  • Expected to close three sales monthly.
  • Positively promote the Homewise mission in the community in a manner that builds the brand and created new referrals and inquiries.
  • Creates satisfied and happy clients who complete the process confident that their best interest is our first interest.
  • Commit to actively contributing to the success of the RES department team and the Homewise organization as a whole.
  • Successfully practice the Homewise Customer Service Standards.

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be licensed by the Real Estate Commission of New Mexico

Work Schedule

  • Ability to travel as needed.
  • Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings or weekends to show properties at times when it is convenient for clients.

Physical Requirements

  • This is largely a mobile role; it requires the ability to move from building to building and throughout homes with customers.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
  • Must be able to set up and take down multiple open house signs.
